Hey. Most of you know a bit about me already, but for those of you who don't, let me say that my name is Mark Smith, and I'm a 19 year old white human male living here in Seattle, Washington. Actually I live a bit north of Seattle but still, it's the same area. :)
I'm currently employed as a Loan Servicing Specialist by Washington Mutual (wamu.com). I work in downtown Seattle and ride the bus in to work every day and back home every day. I work 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM every day. On the bus at 8:00 AM and off the bus again at 6:45 PM. Yay.
I'm madly and totally in love with this really awesome girl that I met online, and met in person first back in June. Her name is Janine and you can check out her web site here. Sign her guestbook! :) I'll be flying back out to see her near the end of October, if all works out. I have the days off from work already, I just have to get the tickets. Cross your fingers for me.
If you're curious for a bit more about me, well, I'm about 6'1" tall, 200 pounds, shortish red hair, and green eyes. I'm supposedly a big part Native American (Cherokee / Seminole) but you wouldn't know it if you looked at me. I have quite a lot of European in me as well, with a bit of Irish, or so I'm told. My grandma says I'm related to Eli Whitney (their last name is Whitney) and my mom says we're related to Elvis. (He's apparently my great-great-great-grandmother's-nephew. Fourth cousins, approximately.)
I won't get into the nitty gritty details of my past. Suffice it to say I was born on November 11, 1982 in a bright and happy town of Altus, Oklahoma. Actually, at the Air Force Base. I've moved around a lot, and the average time I've spent in one house has to be somewhere around 1.5 years. Really. It sucks. Oh well, I guess the advantage is that I'm flexible when it comes to living somewhere. Shrug.
If you want to know more, I suggest you read the rest of the site. I have a page about my hobbies, a page about my goals, and lots of other pages, relating to various things I'm working on, et cetera. My software repository might be of interest to some folks as well. Enjoy.
